we were in college and i lived in a dorm which was strict. we had to plug everything out when leaving and tell our names to receptionist and then register when we came back. the college was big and in the middle of nowhere. after the first class, a few students were asked to go in a different classroom for psychological evaluation because the professors see that there's something wrong with them. i was one of those students and so were the people who bullied me in elementary school. the other classroom was like one of my high schools classrooms and the teacher was my 1st year ancient religions college teacher who was drunk on oral finals and she gave me a 3 for my final grade even though i didn't know a thing and she didn't ask me a thing either so i just sat there among other students for 30 minutes. Anyways, the classroom was on the lower floor and i noticed i don't have my wallet so the professor let me go find it and gave me a stick to use on the slide in the childrens park, i don't know why. then an old elementary school friend went with me and even though we walked together, she was always ahead. we would talk and in a second she would be 20 meters ahead of me
Dreams often reflect our thoughts, emotions, and experiences, sometimes in symbolic or surreal ways. Your dream contains several elements that could be interpreted to gain insight into your subconscious feelings and experiences:
Strict Dormitory and College Setting: The strict rules of the dorm might symbolize a feeling of confinement or pressure in your life, possibly relating to current responsibilities or expectations you feel burdened by. College often represents a time of learning and self-discovery, suggesting you may be in a period of growth or transition.
Psychological Evaluation: Being selected for a psychological evaluation could indicate feelings of vulnerability or self-reflection. This part of the dream might suggest that you are confronting past traumas or insecurities, especially considering that the students who bullied you in elementary school were involved. This can symbolize unfinished emotional business with your past or a desire to be recognized for your worth beyond past experiences.
The Familiar Classroom and the Drunk Teacher: The appearance of a teacher from your past in a less-than-stellar state (drunk) could represent unresolved feelings about authority figures or educational experiences. Receiving a low grade without being questioned might suggest feelings of inadequacy or being ignored, reflecting a fear of judgment or misrepresentation in your abilities.
Lost Wallet: A wallet often symbolizes identity, values, and personal resources. Losing it in the dream could indicate feelings of loss regarding your identity or a need to reclaim something valuable in your life. It might also represent feelings of vulnerability or insecurity about your personal situation.
The Slide and the Stick: The stick used for sliding down might represent a desire for playfulness or escapism in a structured environment. This could indicate a longing to embrace joy or simplicity amidst pressures you feel in your life.
Old Friend and Speed: The friend who is always ahead can symbolize your feelings about progress and comparison. You may feel that others are moving forward in life faster than you are, prompting feelings of inadequacy or frustration. The contrast between your pace and hers could represent a struggle with your own pace of development or healing.
Overall, this dream could reflect a blend of feelings about past experiences, current pressures, and the desire for growth and acceptance. It may be worthwhile to reflect on how these themes resonate with your current life circumstances and emotions.
